3 En zij vergaderden zich tegen Mozes, en tegen Aaron, en zeiden tot hen: Het is te veel voor u, want deze ganse vergadering, zij allen, zijn heilig, en de HEERE is in het midden van hen; waarom dan verheft gijlieden u over de gemeente des HEEREN?

Verse 3. And this combination of the wicked is not only against Divine Truth, but also against Divine Good, insinuating the falsities with the man of the church in temptation, that what is affirmed to be from good and truth is from pride and the love of ruling; that, in reality, every man is led by selfish love; and that by this the Lord governs him.
