17 En van het overige van die olie, die in zijn hand zal zijn, zal de priester doen op het lapje van het rechteroor desgenen, die te reinigen is, en op den duim zijner rechterhand, en op den groten teen zijns rechtervoets, boven op het bloed des schuldoffers.

Verse 17. Whence it follows that not only is truth received from the Lord communicating power, but good also, when man is purified from profanation, being the essential of power in the will by obedience from a principle of good; in the understanding from the conjunction of truth with good interiorly; and in the life by the conjunction of truth with good in every action; and this even in worship from the innocence of ignorance.
