4 En het wordt u aangezegd, en gij hoort het; zo zult gij het wel onderzoeken; en ziet, het is de waarheid, de zaak is zeker, zulk een gruwel is in Israel gedaan;

Verse 4. If this be perceived and made evident to the understanding, and after diligent self-examination it is seen to be true and without doubt that such things exist in the spiritual mind which avert it from the Lord;
