18 And he said: Take the arrows. And when he had taken them, he said to him : Strike with an arrow upon the ground. And he struck three times and stood still.

Verse 18. Further, it is perceived from the Word that particular truths must be sought out: and this he does; also that these particular truths utterly condemn the evil and falsity of the natural man.
