23 And king Solomon swore by Jehovah saying, God do so to me, and more also, -- Adonijah has spoken this word against his own life!

Verse 23. Wherefore confirmation is given by Divine Good and Divine Truth that, in this case, the celestial church would be destroyed, and therefore that self-love must be entirely put away.
