34 He did evil in the eyes of the Lord, copying the evil ways of Jeroboam and the sin which he made Israel do.

Verse 34. The consequence of which is that the man in whom this falsity rules is for ever opposed to Divine Truth from Divine Good, delighting in the falsity which he has adopted and in the evil works thence proceeding.
