7 And he had talk with Joab, the son of Zeruiah, and with Abiathar the priest; and they were on his side and gave him their support.

Verse 7. Nevertheless it favours the falsity derived from evil, which enslaves, and the evil derived from falsity, which prevails; and these in return support the aspirations of self-love.
