6 And he arose, and went into the house; and he poured the oil on his head, and said unto him, Thus saith Jehovah, the God of Israel, I have anointed thee king over the people of Jehovah, even over Israel.

Verse 6. And therefore there is an elevation to an interior state, in which there is conjunction of Divine Good with Divine Truth, and thence the perception, that Divine Truth in a form accommodated to the state of the church, must rule in the church as to thought and as to affection.
