And the first-born saith unto the younger, `Our father [is] old, and a man there is not in the earth to come in unto us, as [is] the way of all the earth;
2264. That 'Abraham answered and said' means the Lord's thought from the human is clear from the representation of 'Abraham' in this chapter as the Lord as regards the human, dealt with several times above.
