And the LORD spoke to Moses, Say to Aaron, Take thy rod, and stretch out thy hand upon the waters of Egypt, upon their streams, upon their rivers, and upon their ponds, and upon all their pools of water, that they may become blood: and that there may be blood throughout all the land of Egypt, both in vessels of wood, and in vessels of stone.
7282. 'And I will lead the children of Israel out of the midst of them' means and when they come to see that those who belong to the spiritual Church are being delivered. This is clear from the meaning of 'leading out' as being delivered, as above in 7177; and from the meaning of 'the children of Israel' as those who belong to the spiritual Church, dealt with above in 7271.
