¹ พระวจนะของพระเยโฮวาห์มาถึงข้าพเจ้าว่า

² "บุตรแห่งมนุษย์เอ๋ย เจ้าจงพยากรณ์กล่าวโทษผู้พยากรณ์ของอิสราเอลที่พยากรณ์ และกล่าวแก่คนเหล่านั้นที่พยากรณ์ตามอำเภอใจของตนว่า `จงฟังพระวจนะของพระเยโฮวาห์'

³ องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าตรัสดังนี้ว่า วิบัติแก่ผู้พยากรณ์โฉดเขลา ผู้ติดตามวิญญาณของตนเอง และไม่เคยได้เห็นอะไรเลย

⁴ โอ อิสราเอลเอ๋ย ผู้พยากรณ์ของเจ้าเหมือนสุนัขจิ้งจอกท่ามกลางสิ่งสลักหักพัง

⁵ เจ้าไม่ได้ขึ้นไปถึงที่ชำรุด และไม่ได้สร้างรั้วต้นไม้เพื่อวงศ์วานอิสราเอล เพื่อให้ตั้งอยู่ได้ในสงครามในวันแห่งพระเยโฮวาห์

⁶ เขาทั้งหลายเห็นนิมิตเท็จและทำนายมุสา เขากล่าวว่า `พระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสว่า' ในเมื่อพระเยโฮวาห์มิได้ทรงใช้เขาไป เขาทำให้คนอื่นหวังว่าเขาจะรับรองถ้อยคำของเขา

⁷ เจ้าได้เคยเห็นนิมิตเท็จ และเคยทำนายมุสามิใช่หรือ ในเมื่อเจ้ากล่าวว่า `พระเยโฮวาห์ตรัสว่า' ทั้งที่เรามิได้พูดเลย"

⁸ เพราะฉะนั้นองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าตรัสดังนี้ว่า "เพราะเจ้ากล่าวเท็จและได้เห็นนิมิตมุสา องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าตรัสว่า เพราะฉะนั้นดูเถิด เราเป็นปฏิปักษ์กับเจ้า

⁹ มือของเราจะต่อสู้ผู้พยากรณ์ผู้เห็นนิมิตเท็จและผู้ให้คำทำนายมุสา เขาจะไม่ได้เข้าอยู่ในสภาแห่งประชาชนของเรา หรือขึ้นทะเบียนอยู่ในทะเบียนของวงศ์วานอิสราเอล และเขาจะไม่ได้เข้าในแผ่นดินอิสราเอล และเจ้าจะทราบว่าเราคือองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้า

¹⁰ เพราะว่า เออ เพราะว่าเขาทั้งหลายได้นำประชาชนของเราให้หลง โดยกล่าวว่า `สันติภาพ' เมื่อไม่มีสันติภาพเลย และเพราะว่าเมื่อมีคนสร้างกำแพง ดูเถิด คนอื่นก็ฉาบด้วยปูนขาว

¹¹ จงกล่าวแก่ผู้ที่ฉาบปูนขาวนั้นว่า กำแพงนั้นจะพัง จะมีฝนตกท่วม และเจ้า ลูกเห็บใหญ่เอ๋ย จะตกลงมา และลมพายุจะฉีกมัน

¹² ดูเถิด เมื่อกำแพงพังลง เขาจะไม่พูดกับท่านหรือว่า `ปูนขาวที่เจ้าได้ฉาบนั้นอยู่ที่ไหนเล่า'

¹³ เพราะฉะนั้นองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าตรัสดังนี้ว่า เราจะกระทำให้ลมพายุฉีกมันด้วยความกริ้วของเรา และด้วยความโกรธของเราจะมีฝนท่วม ด้วยความกริ้วของเราจะมีลูกเห็บใหญ่ทำลายเสีย

¹⁴ และเราจะพังกำแพงซึ่งเจ้าฉาบด้วยปูนขาวนั้น และให้พังลงถึงดิน รากกำแพงนั้นจึงจะปรากฏ เมื่อกำแพงพัง เจ้าทั้งหลายจะพินาศอยู่ที่กลางกำแพง และเจ้าจะทราบว่าเราคือพระเยโฮวาห์

¹⁵ เราจะให้ความพิโรธของเราสำเร็จบนกำแพงและบนคนเหล่านั้นที่ฉาบกำแพงด้วยปูนขาว และเราจะพูดกับเจ้าว่า `กำแพงไม่มีอีกแล้ว ผู้ที่ฉาบปูนขาวก็ไม่มีด้วย'

¹⁶ คือผู้พยากรณ์แห่งอิสราเอลซึ่งพยากรณ์เกี่ยวถึงกรุงเยรูซาเล็มและได้เห็นนิมิตแห่งสันติภาพของเมืองนั้น ในเมื่อไม่มีสันติภาพ องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าตรัสดังนี้แหละ

¹⁷ เจ้า บุตรแห่งมนุษย์เอ๋ย เจ้าจงมุ่งหน้าต่อสู้บรรดาบุตรสาวแห่งชนชาติของเจ้า ผู้พยากรณ์ตามอำเภอใจของตนเอง จงพยากรณ์กล่าวโทษเขา

¹⁸ และกล่าวว่า องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าตรัสดังนี้ว่า วิบัติแห่งหญิงที่เย็บปลอกไสยศาสตร์สำหรับใส่ช่องแขนเสื้อทั้งสิ้น และทำผ้าคลุมศีรษะให้คนทุกขนาดเพื่อล่าวิญญาณ เจ้าจะล่าวิญญาณซึ่งเป็นของประชาชนของเรา และจะรักษาวิญญาณอื่นๆให้คงชีวิตอยู่เพื่อผลกำไรของเจ้าหรือ

¹⁹ เจ้าจะกระทำให้เรามัวหมองท่ามกลางประชาชนของเรา ด้วยเห็นแก่ข้าวบารลีเพียงหลายเป็นกำมือ และขนมปังเพียงหลายชิ้น เพื่อสังหารคนที่ไม่สมควรจะตาย และไว้ชีวิตคนที่ไม่ควรจะมีชีวิตอยู่ โดยการมุสาของเจ้าต่อประชาชนของเราที่ฟังคำมุสานั้น

²⁰ ด้วยเหตุนี้ องค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้าพระเจ้าตรัสดังนี้ว่า ดูเถิด เราต่อสู้ปลอกไสยศาสตร์ของเจ้า ซึ่งเจ้าใช้ล่าวิญญาณเพื่อให้เขาบินไป และเราจะฉีกปลอกไสยศาสตร์นั้นเสียจากแขนของเจ้าทั้งหลาย และเราจะปล่อยวิญญาณเหล่านั้นไป คือวิญญาณที่เจ้าล่าเพื่อให้เขาบินไป

²¹ ผ้าคลุมของเจ้าเราก็จะฉีกเสียด้วย และช่วยประชาชนของเราให้พ้นจากมือของเจ้า และเขาจะไม่เป็นเหยื่อในมือของเจ้าต่อไป และเจ้าจะทราบว่าเราคือพระเยโฮวาห์

²² เพราะเจ้าได้กระทำให้คนชอบธรรมท้อใจด้วยการมุสา ทั้งที่เราไม่ได้กระทำให้เขาเศร้าใจเลย และเจ้าได้ทำให้มือของคนชั่วแข็งแรงขึ้น เพื่อมิให้เขาหันกลับจากทางชั่วของเขา โดยสัญญาว่าเขาจะได้ชีวิตรอด

²³ เพราะฉะนั้นเจ้าจะไม่ได้เห็นเรื่องเหลวไหลหรือทำนายเหตุการณ์ในอนาคตอีก ด้วยว่าเราจะช่วยประชาชนของเราให้พ้นจากมือของเจ้า แล้วเจ้าจะทราบว่าเราคือพระเยโฮวาห์"

¹ A reed like a rod was given to me. Someone said, "Rise, and measure God's temple, and the altar, and those who worship in it.

² Leave out the court which is outside of the temple, and don't measure it, for it has been given to the nations. They will tread the holy city under foot for forty-two months.

³ I will give power to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy one thousand two hundred sixty days, clothed in sackcloth."

⁴ These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands, standing before the Lord of the earth.

⁵ If anyone desires to harm them, fire proceeds out of their mouth and devours their enemies. If anyone desires to harm them, he must be killed in this way.

⁶ These have the power to shut up the sky, that it may not rain during the days of their prophecy. They have power over the waters, to turn them into blood, and to strike the earth with every plague, as often as they desire.

⁷ When they have finished their testimony, the beast that comes up out of the abyss will make war with them, and overcome them, and kill them.

⁸ Their dead bodies will be in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also their Lord was crucified.

⁹ From among the peoples, tribes, languages, and nations people will look at their dead bodies for three and a half days, and will not allow their dead bodies to be laid in a tomb.

¹⁰ Those who dwell on the earth rejoice over them, and they will be glad. They will give gifts to one another, because these two prophets tormented those who dwell on the earth.

¹¹ After the three and a half days, the breath of life from God entered into them, and they stood on their feet. Great fear fell on those who saw them.

¹² I heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, "Come up here!" They went up into heaven in the cloud, and their enemies saw them.

¹³ In that day there was a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell. Seven thousand people were killed in the earthquake, and the rest were terrified, and gave glory to the God of heaven.

¹⁴ The second woe is past. Behold, the third woe comes quickly.

¹⁵ The seventh angel sounded, and great voices in heaven followed, saying, "The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord, and of his Christ. He will reign forever and ever!"

¹⁶ The twenty-four elders, who sit on their thrones before God's throne, fell on their faces and worshiped God,

¹⁷ saying: "We give you thanks, Lord God, the Almighty, the one who is and who was; because you have taken your great power, and reigned.

¹⁸ The nations were angry, and your wrath came, as did the time for the dead to be judged, and to give your bondservants the prophets, their reward, as well as to the saints, and those who fear your name, to the small and the great; and to destroy those who destroy the earth."

¹⁹ God's temple that is in heaven was opened, and the ark of the Lord's covenant was seen in his temple. Lightnings, sounds, thunders, an earthquake, and great hail followed.
