2 ในปีแรกแห่งรัชกาลของท่าน ข้าพเจ้าดาเนียลได้เข้าใจถึงจำนวนปีจากหนังสือ ซึ่งพระวจนะของพระเยโฮวาห์ได้มีมาถึงเยเรมีย์ผู้พยากรณ์ว่า พระองค็จะทรงกระทำให้ครบกำหนดเจ็ดสิบปีในการรกร้างของกรุงเยรูซาเล็ม
