ഇപ്പോള് ആ പുരുഷന്നു അവന്റെ ഭാര്യയെ മടക്കിക്കൊടുക്ക; അവന് ഒരു പ്രവാചകന് ആകുന്നു; നീ ജീവനോടിരിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു അവന് നിനക്കുവേണ്ടി പ്രാര്ത്ഥിക്കട്ടെ. അവളെ മടക്കിക്കൊടുക്കാതിരുന്നാലോ, നീയും നിനക്കുള്ളവരൊക്കെയും മരിക്കേണ്ടിവരും എന്നു അറിഞ്ഞുകൊള്ക എന്നു അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു.
2587. 'Because of the matter of Sarah' means through the rational if it had joined itself. This is clear from the representation of 'Sarah when a sister' as rational truth, dealt with in 2508. 'The matter of Sarah' means the whole affair, that is to say, of her being called a sister, and of Abimelech's taking her, but not going near her.
