6035. 'And Israel said to Joseph' means the perception by spiritual good - a perception received from the internal celestial. This is clear from the meaning of 'saying' in the historical narratives of the Word as perception; from the representation of 'Israel', upon whose neck Joseph wept, as spiritual good; and from the representation of 'Joseph' as the internal celestial, which have all been dealt with often before.
