8820. 'Because Jehovah came down onto it in fire' means since the Divine was there in celestial love. This is clear from the meaning of 'fire', in which Jehovah was, as Divine celestial love. 'fire' is love, see 934, 4906, 5071 (end), 5215, 6314, 6832, 6834, 6849, at this point Divine celestial love, which is God's love as it exists in the heaven where celestial angels are.
