8894. 'Therefore Jehovah blessed the seventh day' means that at that time the heavenly marriage from the Lord exists. This is clear from the meaning of 'blessing' as undergoing rearrangement into heavenly order and being endowed with the good of love, dealt with in 3017, 3406, 4981, 8674; and from the meaning of 'the seventh day' as the state of celestial love, dealt with in 84-87, thus the heavenly marriage, since the heavenly marriage is goodness and truth joined together, which is heaven in a person.
