Crucify
In Matthew 27:32, crucifying signifies that the church at that the time had destroyed and profaned the whole Word. (Doctrine of the Lord 16[6])
In Matthew 23:34, to crucify signifies to destroy, and relates to the good of doctrine. (Apocalypse Explained 655[9])
In John 19, this signifies the last combat of temptations, by which Jesus fully conquered the hells, and fully glorified His Human. (Doctrine of the Lord 3[6])
In Revelation 11:8, this signifies no acknowledgment of the Lord's Divine Human, and so rejection. (Apocalypse Revealed 504)
In Matthew 27:31, there were two death penalties among the Jews: Crucifixion and stoning; and by Crucifixion was signified condemnation and a curse on account of the destruction of good in the church, while stoning indicated the destruction of truth. (Apocalypse Explained 655[5])
