² And the chief shall come·​·into the way of the porch of that gate outside, and shall stand by^◦ the post of the gate, and the priests shall make his burnt·​·offering and his peace·​·offerings, and he shall worship by^◦ the threshold of the gate; then he shall go·​·forth; but the gate shall not be shut until the evening.

³ and the remnant of the gift·​·offering shall be Aaron’s and his sons’; it is a holy of holies of the fire·​·offerings of Jehovah.
