9859. 'Like the work of the ephod you shall make it' means a continuation from the outermost part of the spiritual kingdom. This is clear from the representation of 'the ephod' as Divine Truth in an outward form in the spiritual kingdom, in which inner things terminate, dealt with in 9824, and therefore as the outermost part of that kingdom. A continuation of this is meant by 'like the work of the ephod', as also in 9838.
