4 E fa’ accostare Aaronne e i suoi figliuoli, all’entrata del Tabernacolo della convenenza; e lavali con acqua.

To many Protestant and Evangelical Italians, the Bibles translated by Giovanni Diodati are an important part of their history. Diodati’s first Italian Bible edition was printed in 1607, and his second in 1641. He died in 1649. Throughout the 1800s two editions of Diodati’s text were printed by the British Foreign Bible Society. This is the more recent 1894 edition, translated by Claudiana.

10100. 'To anoint [them] in them' means to represent the Lord in respect of Divine Good. This is clear from the meaning of 'anointing' as consecration to represent the Lord in respect of Divine Good, dealt with in 9954, 10019, at this point by those who receive what is Divine and the Lord's in the natural; for the decree that 'Aaron's garments shall be for his sons after him' means the Lord's Divine Spiritual within the natural, 10098, 10099.
