Και οτε εγεινεν αυγη, εβιαζον οι αγγελοι τον Λωτ, λεγοντες· Σηκωθητι, λαβε την γυναικα σου και τας δυο σου θυγατερας, τας ευρισκομενας εδω, δια να μη συναπολεσθης και συ εν τη ανομια της πολεως.

And He said unto him, Behold, I have accepted thy face as to this word also, that I will not overthrow the city of which thou hast spoken. “He said unto him, Behold, I have accepted thy face as to this word also,” signifies assent, provided that the interiors in the truth derive anything from good; “that I will not overthrow the city of which thou hast spoken,” signifies that thus he would not perish.
