8182. 'And you, lift up your rod' means the power of Divine Truth. This is clear from the meaning of 'rod' as power, dealt with in 4013, 4015, 4876, 4936, 6947, 7011, 7026; and from the representation of Moses, to whom it is said that he should lift up his rod, as Divine Truth, already dealt with often.
