In Revelation 14:10; 16:2, this signifies conjunction with falsified truth from the literal sense of the Word. When people lie or speak falsely in the Bible, it represents the "falsity of faith" and the resulting "evil of faith." This is what happens when people form their ideas based on bad information and incorrect assumptions. This leads to wrong ways of thinking and evil.
