This is clear from the meaning of 'the blood' as holy truth coming forth from the Lord, dealt with in 4735, 6978, 7317, 7326. And 'the blood' being that of the lamb, by which the good of innocence is meant, 3994, it is holy truth belonging to the good of innocence.
