For all that do these things are an abomination to the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee.

Verse 12. For all these things pollute religion and make the soul averse to heaven; and because they are averse to all good, the providence of the Divine Love and Wisdom is directed to drive them out of the heart.
