ואם האכל יאכל מבשר זבח שלמיו ביום השלישי לא ירצה המקריב אתו לא יחשב לו פגול יהיה והנפש האכלת ממנו עונה תשא׃

Verse 18. But if, in this process, selfish good is appropriated, it does not give conjunction with the Lord, nor can it be imputed as heavenly good; for it is utterly opposed to such good; and he who is in it must remain in his evil state conjoining it with falsity.
