Ever go to a store and somebody says to you, "You sure would look good in that shirt!" You know they're flattery is a way to try to make the sale... yet, you also think, "Yes, I do look good in this, don't I?!" That's the trouble with flattery: even when we recognize it we can still fall victim to it. In our final story in our Daniel series, the king has come a long way from his selfish ways, but flattery is still a trigger for that love of self that lurks beneath.
