1415. Verse 2 And I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you, and I will make your name great; and you will be a blessing. 'I will make you into a great nation' means a kingdom in heaven and on earth - the expression 'great nation' being used from things that are celestial and good. 'And I will bless you' means fruitfulness in celestial and increase in spiritual things. 'And I will make your name great' means glory. 'And you will be a blessing' means that from the Lord comes every single thing.

The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light. Those who lived in the land of the shadow of death, on them the light has shined.

You have multiplied the nation. You have increased their joy. They rejoice before you according to the joy in harvest, as men rejoice when they divide the spoil.
