Isus Navin 5

Studie

2 U to vreme reče Gospod Isusu: Načini oštre noževe, i obreži opet sinove Izrailjeve.

3 I načini Isus oštre noževe, i obreza sinove Izrailjeve na brdašcu Aralotu.

4 A ovo je uzrok zašto ih Isus obreza: sav narod što izađe iz Misira, sve muškinje, svi ljudi vojnici pomreše u pustinji na putu, pošto izađoše iz Misira;

5 Jer beše obrezan sav narod koji izađe, ali ne obrezaše nikoga u narodu koji se rodi u pustinji na putu, pošto izađoše iz Misira.

6 Jer četrdeset godina iđahu sinovi Izrailjevi po pustinji dokle ne pomre sav narod, ljudi vojnici, što izađoše iz Misira, jer ne slušaše glas Gospodnji, te im se zakle Gospod da im neće dati da vide zemlju, za koju se zakleo Gospod ocima njihovim da će im je dati, zemlju, gde teče mleko i med;

7 I na mesto njihovo podiže sinove njihove; njih obreza Isus pošto behu neobrezani, jer ih ne obrezaše na putu.

8 A kad se sav narod obreza, ostaše na svom mestu u logoru dokle ne ozdraviše.

9 Tada reče Gospod Isusu: Danas skidoh s vas sramotu misirsku. I prozva se ono mesto Galgal do današnjeg dana.

10 I sinovi Izrailjevi stojeći u logoru u Galgalu, slaviše pashu četrnaestog dana onog meseca uveče u polju jerihonskom.

11 I sutradan posle pashe jedoše od žita one zemlje hlebove presne i zrna pržena, isti dan.

12 I presta mana sutradan, pošto jedoše žito one zemlje, i većviše nisu imali mane sinovi Izrailjevi, nego jedoše od roda zemlje hananske one godine.

13 I kad Isus beše kod Jerihona, podiže oči svoje i pogleda, a to čovek stoji prema njemu s golim mačem u ruci. I pristupi k Njemu Isus i reče Mu: Jesi li naš ili naših neprijatelja?

14 A On reče: Nisam; nego sam vojvoda vojske Gospodnje, sada dođoh. A Isus pade ničice na zemlju, i pokloni se, i reče Mu: Šta zapoveda gospodar moj sluzi svom?

15 A vojvoda vojske Gospodnje reče Isusu: Izuj obuću s nogu svojih, jer je mesto gde stojiš sveto. I učini Isus tako.

'Standing before God,' as in Revelation 20:12, signifies being present and assembled to judgment.

Zechariah 3

Studie

1 He showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of Yahweh, and Satan standing at his right hand to be his adversary.

2 Yahweh said to Satan, "Yahweh rebuke you, Satan! Yes, Yahweh who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Isn't this a burning stick plucked out of the fire?"

3 Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and was standing before the angel.

4 He answered and spoke to those who stood before him, saying, "Take the filthy garments off of him." To him he said, "Behold, I have caused your iniquity to pass from you, and I will clothe you with rich clothing."

5 I said, "Let them set a clean turban on his head." So they set a clean turban on his head, and clothed him; and the angel of Yahweh was standing by.

6 The angel of Yahweh protested to Joshua, saying,

7 "Thus says Yahweh of Armies: 'If you will walk in my ways, and if you will follow my instructions, then you also shall judge my house, and shall also keep my courts, and I will give you a place of access among these who stand by.

8 Hear now, Joshua the high priest, you and your fellows who sit before you; for they are men who are a sign: for, behold, I will bring forth my servant, the Branch.

9 For, behold, the stone that I have set before Joshua; on one stone are seven eyes: behold, I will engrave its engraving,' says Yahweh of Armies, 'and I will remove the iniquity of that land in one day.

10 In that day,' says Yahweh of Armies, 'you will invite every man his neighbor under the vine and under the fig tree.'"
