Agej 2

Studie

Sedmog meseca dvadeset prvog dana dođe reč Gospodnja preko Ageja proroka govoreći:

Kaži sada Zorovavelju sinu Salatilovom, upravitelju judejskom, i Isusu sinu Josedekovom, poglavaru svešteničkom, i ostatku narodnom govoreći:

A kakav vi sada vidite?

Nego sada budi hrabar, Zorovavelju, govori Gospod, i budi hrabar Isuse sine Josedekov, poglavaru sveštenički, i budi hrabar sav narode zemaljski, govori Gospod, i radite; jer sam ja s vama, govori Gospod nad vojskama.

Jer ovako veli Gospod nad vojskama: Još jednom, do malo, i ja ću potresti nebesa i zemlju i more i suvu zemlju;

A sveštenici odgovoriše i rekoše: Ne.

A sveštenici odgovoriše i rekoše: Biće nečisto.

Pre toga kad ko dođe ka gomili od dvadeset mera, beše deset; kad dođe ka kaci da dobije pedeset vedara iz kace, beše dvadeset;

Kaži Zorovavelju upravitelju judejskom, i reci: Ja ću potresti nebo i zemlju;

I prevaliću presto carstvima, i satrću silu carstvima narodnim, prevaliću kola i one koji sede na njima, i popadaće konji i konjanici, svaki od mača brata svog.

U to vreme, govori Gospod nad vojskama, uzeću tebe, Zorovavelju, sine Salatilov, slugo moj, govori Gospod, i postaviću te kao pečat; jer sam te izabrao, govori Gospod nad vojskama.

Olive

'An olive' signifies love and charity, because 'the olive tree' signifies the celestial church, and so 'the olive,' which is its fruit, signifies celestial love, which love is love to the Lord. This is why the oil which was used to anoint all the holy things of the church, signifies the same love. This oil which was called 'the oil of holiness' was produced from olives, and mixed with aromatics, as in Exodus 19:23, 24, and the lamps of the candelabra in the tabernacle were made to burn every evening with olive oil, as in Exodus 27:20 and Leviticus 24:2. 'An olive,' as in Isaiah 17:6, signifies celestial remains.
