In that◦ day there shall be a spring opened to the house of David and to those dwelling··in Jerusalem for sin and for impurity*.
2
And it shall be in that◦ day, says◦ Jehovah of Armies, that I will cut··off the names of the idols◦ out··of the land, and they shall not be remembered any··more; and also I will cause the prophets and the spirit of uncleanness to pass out··of the land.
3
And it shall be, when◦ a man◦ shall yet prophesy, that his father and his mother who begot him shall say to▵ him, Thou shalt not live, for thou speakest falsity in the name of Jehovah; and his father and his mother who begot him shall thrust· him ·through when he prophesies.
4
And it shall be in that◦ day, that the prophets shall be··ashamed every man◦ of his vision, when he has prophesied; and they shall not be clothed with a mantle◦ of hair in··order··to deceive◦.
5
But he shall say, I▵ am not a prophet. I▵ am a man◦ who tills the ground, for man sold▵ me from my youth.
6
And one shall say to▵ him, What are these wounds▵ in thy hands? And he shall say, Those with which I was wounded▵ in the house of my love.
7
Stir··up, O sword, against My Shepherd, and against the Mighty··Man who is My Fellow, says◦ Jehovah of Armies. Smite the Shepherd, and the flock shall be scattered; and I will return My hand upon the little··ones.
8
And it shall be, that in all the land, says◦ Jehovah, two parts* in it shall be cut··off and expire, but the third shall remain in it.
9
And I will bring the third part* into the fire, and will refine them as the silver is refined, and will test them as the gold is tested; he◦ shall call on◦ My name, and I◦ will answer him; I will say, This◦ is My people; and he◦ shall say, Jehovah is my God.
