¹ 耶和华的话又临到我说：

² 人子啊，要为推罗作起哀歌，

³ 说：你居住海口，是众民的商埠；你的交易通到许多的海岛。主耶和华如此说：推罗啊，你曾说：我是全然美丽的。

⁴ 你的境界在海中，造你的使你全然美丽。

⁵ 他们用示尼珥的松树做你的一切板，用利巴嫩的香柏树做桅杆，

⁶ 用巴珊的橡树做你的桨，用象牙镶嵌基提海岛的黄杨木为坐板（或译：舱板）。

⁷ 你的篷帆是用埃及绣花细麻布做的，可以做你的大旗；你的凉棚是用以利沙岛的蓝色、紫色布做的。

⁸ 西顿和亚发的居民作你荡桨的。推罗啊，你中间的智慧人作掌舵的。

⁹ 迦巴勒的老者和聪明人都在你中间作补缝的；一切泛海的船只和水手都在你中间经营交易的事。

¹⁰ 波斯人、路德人、弗人在你军营中作战士；他们在你中间悬挂盾牌和头盔，彰显你的尊荣。

¹¹ 亚发人和你的军队都在你四围的墙上，你的望楼也有勇士；他们悬挂盾牌，成全你的美丽。

¹² 他施人因你多有各类的财物，就作你的客商，拿银、铁、锡、铅兑换你的货物。

¹³ 雅完人、土巴人、米设人都与你交易；他们用人口和铜器兑换你的货物。

¹⁴ 陀迦玛族用马和战马并骡子兑换你的货物。

¹⁵ 底但人与你交易，许多海岛作你的码头；他们拿象牙、乌木与你兑换（或译：进贡）。

¹⁶ 亚兰人因你的工作很多，就作你的客商；他们用绿宝石、紫色布绣货、细麻布、珊瑚、红宝石兑换你的货物。

¹⁷ 犹大和以色列地的人都与你交易；他们用米匿的麦子、饼、蜜、油、乳香兑换你的货物。

¹⁸ 大马色人因你的工作很多，又因你多有各类的财物，就拿黑本酒和白羊毛与你交易。

¹⁹ 威但人和雅完人拿纺成的线、亮铁、桂皮、菖蒲兑换你的货物。

²⁰ 底但人用高贵的毯子、鞍、屉与你交易。

²¹ 亚拉伯人和基达的一切首领都作你的客商，用羊羔、公绵羊、公山羊与你交易。

²² 示巴和拉玛的商人与你交易，他们用各类上好的香料、各类的宝石，和黄金兑换你的货物。

²³ 哈兰人、干尼人、伊甸人、示巴的商人，和亚述人、基抹人与你交易。

²⁴ 这些商人以美好的货物包在绣花蓝色包袱内，又有华丽的衣服装在香柏木的箱子里，用绳捆着与你交易。

²⁵ 他施的船只接连成帮为你运货，你便在海中丰富极其荣华。

²⁶ 荡桨的已经把你荡到大水之处，东风在海中将你打破。

²⁷ 你的资财、物件、货物、水手、掌舵的、补缝的、经营交易的，并你中间的战士和人民，在你破坏的日子必都沉在海中。

²⁸ 你掌舵的呼号之声一发，郊野都必震动。

²⁹ 凡荡桨的和水手，并一切泛海掌舵的，都必下船登岸。

³⁰ 他们必为你放声痛哭，把尘土撒在头上，在灰中打滚；

³¹ 又为你使头上光秃，用麻布束腰，号啕痛哭，苦苦悲哀。

³² 他们哀号的时候，为你作起哀歌哀哭，说：有何城如推罗？有何城如他在海中成为寂寞的呢？

³³ 你由海上运出货物，就使许多国民充足；你以许多资财、货物使地上的君王丰富。

³⁴ 你在深水中被海浪打破的时候，你的货物和你中间的一切人民，就都沉下去了。

³⁵ 海岛的居民为你惊奇；他们的君王都甚恐慌，面带愁容。

³⁶ 各国民中的客商都向你发嘶声；你令人惊恐，不再存留於世，直到永远。

¹ "They say, 'If a man puts away his wife, and she goes from him, and become another man's, will he return to her again?' Wouldn't that land be greatly polluted? But you have played the prostitute with many lovers; yet return again to me," says Yahweh.

² "Lift up your eyes to the bare heights, and see! Where have you not been lain with? You have sat for them by the ways, as an Arabian in the wilderness. You have polluted the land with your prostitution and with your wickedness.

³ Therefore the showers have been withheld, and there has been no latter rain; yet you have a prostitute's forehead, you refused to be ashamed.

⁴ Will you not from this time cry to me, 'My Father, you are the guide of my youth?'

⁵ "'Will he retain [his anger] forever? Will he keep it to the end?' Behold, you have spoken and have done evil things, and have had your way."

⁶ Moreover, Yahweh said to me in the days of Josiah the king, "Have you seen that which backsliding Israel has done? She has gone up on every high mountain and under every green tree, and there has played the prostitute.

⁷ I said after she had done all these things, 'She will return to me;' but she didn't return; and her treacherous sister Judah saw it.

⁸ I saw, when, for this very cause that backsliding Israel had committed adultery, I had put her away and given her a bill of divorce, yet treacherous Judah, her sister, didn't fear; but she also went and played the prostitute.

⁹ It happened through the lightness of her prostitution, that the land was polluted, and she committed adultery with stones and with stocks.

¹⁰ Yet for all this her treacherous sister, Judah, has not returned to me with her whole heart, but only in pretense," says Yahweh.

¹¹ Yahweh said to me, "Backsliding Israel has shown herself more righteous than treacherous Judah.

¹² Go, and proclaim these words toward the north, and say, 'Return, you backsliding Israel,' says Yahweh; 'I will not look in anger on you; for I am merciful,' says Yahweh. 'I will not keep [anger] forever.

¹³ Only acknowledge your iniquity, that you have transgressed against Yahweh your God, and have scattered your ways to the strangers under every green tree, and you have not obeyed my voice,' says Yahweh."

¹⁴ "Return, backsliding children," says Yahweh; "for I am a husband to you. I will take you one of a city, and two of a family, and I will bring you to Zion.

¹⁵ I will give you shepherds according to my heart, who shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.

¹⁶ It shall come to pass, when you are multiplied and increased in the land, in those days," says Yahweh, "they shall say no more, 'The ark of the covenant of Yahweh!' neither shall it come to mind; neither shall they remember it; neither shall they miss it; neither shall it be made any more.

¹⁷ At that time they shall call Jerusalem 'The throne of Yahweh;' and all the nations shall be gathered to it, to the name of Yahweh, to Jerusalem. Neither shall they walk any more after the stubbornness of their evil heart.

¹⁸ In those days the house of Judah shall walk with the house of Israel, and they shall come together out of the land of the north to the land that I gave for an inheritance to your fathers.

¹⁹ "But I said, 'How I would put you among the children, and give you a pleasant land, a goodly heritage of the armies of the nations!' and I said, 'You shall call me "My Father," and shall not turn away from following me.'

²⁰ "Surely as a wife treacherously departs from her husband, so you have dealt treacherously with me, house of Israel," says Yahweh.

²¹ A voice is heard on the bare heights, the weeping [and] the petitions of the children of Israel; because they have perverted their way, they have forgotten Yahweh their God.

²² Return, you backsliding children, I will heal your backsliding. "Behold, we have come to you; for you are Yahweh our God.

²³ Truly in vain is [the help that is looked for] from the hills, the tumult on the mountains. Truly the salvation of Israel is in Yahweh our God.

²⁴ But the shameful thing has devoured the labor of our fathers from our youth, their flocks and their herds, their sons and their daughters.

²⁵ Let us lie down in our shame, and let our confusion cover us; for we have sinned against Yahweh our God, we and our fathers, from our youth even to this day. We have not obeyed the voice of Yahweh our God."
