4 anyuke amasele lawo, eze nakuwe, nakubantu bakho, nakubakhonzi bakho bonke.

5 Wathi uYehova kuMoses, Yithi kuAron, Yolula isandla sakho eso sinentonga yakho phezu kwemilambo, naphezu kwemijelo, naphezu kwamachibi, unyuse amasele phezu kwelizwe laseYiputa.

6 Wasolula ke uAron isandla sakhe phezu kwamanzi aseYiputa; enyuka amasele, aligubungela ilizwe laseYiputa.

7 Zenjenjalo nezazi ngobugqi bazo, zawanyusa amasele phezu kwelizwe laseYiputa.

8 UFaro wabiza uMoses noAron, wathi, Mthandazeni uYehova, awasuse amasele kum nasebantwini bam; ndobandulula abantu, baye kubingelela kuYehova.

9 Wathi uMoses kuFaro, Zizukise ngokundimisela ixesha lokuba ndikuthandazele nini na, wena nabakhonzi bakho, nabantu bakho, anqunyulwe amasele kuwe nakwindlu yakho, asale emlanjeni wodwa.

10 Wathi yena, Ngomso. Wathi ke, Makube ngokwelizwi lakho, ukuze wazi ukuba akukho unjengoYehova uThixo wethu;

11 asuke amasele kuwe, nakwizindlu zakho, nakubakhonzi bakho, nakubantu bakho; asale emlanjeni wodwa.

12 Baphuma ke ooMoses noAron kuFaro; wadanduluka uMoses kuYehova ngendawo yamasele abewabeke phezu koFaro.

13 Wenza uYehova ngokwelizwi likaMoses. Afa amasele ezindlwini, nasezintendelezweni, nasemasimini.

14 Bawahlanganisa aziimfumba ngeemfumba; lanuka ilizwe.

15 Uthe ke uFaro akuba nethuba lokuphefumla, wayenza lukhuni intliziyo yakhe, akabaphulaphula, njengoko watshoyo uYehova.

16 Wathi uYehova kuMoses, Yithi kuAron, Yolula intonga yakho, ulubethe uthuli lwelizwe lube ziingcongconi ezweni lonke laseYiputa.

17 Benjenjalo. Wasolula uAron isandla sakhe eso sinentonga yakhe, walubetha uthuli lwelizwe, lwaba ziingcongconi ebantwini nasezinkomeni. Lonke uthuli lwelizwe lwaba ziingcongconi ezweni lonke laseYiputa.

18 Zenjenjalo nezazi ngobugqi bazo, ukuba zivelise iingcongconi, azaba nako. Kwakho iingcongconi ebantwini nasezinkomeni.

19 Zathi izazi kuFaro, Ngumnwe kaThixo. Yaba lukhuni intliziyo kaFaro, akabaphulaphula, njengoko watshoyo uYehova.

20 Wathi uYehova kuMoses, Vuka kusasa ngomso, ume phambi koFaro, nanko ephuma esiya emanzini; uthi kuye, Utsho uYehova ukuthi, Bandulule abantu bam, baye kundikhonza.

21 Okanye ukuba uthe akwabandulula abantu bam, yabona, ndithuma izibawu kuwe, nakubakhonzi bakho, nakubantu bakho, nasezindlwini zakho, zizale izindlu zamaYiputa zizibawu, nomhlaba akuwo;

22 ndilibalule ngaloo mini lona ilizwe laseGoshen, abemi kulo abantu bam, kungabikho zibawu khona, ukuze wazi ukuba ndinguYehova phakathi kwelizwe;

23 ndimise inkululo phakathi kwabantu bam nabantu bakho; lo mqondiso uya kubakho ngomso.

24 Wenjenjalo uYehova. Kweza izibawu ezininzi endlwini kaFaro, nasezindlwini zabakhonzi bakhe, nasezweni lonke laseYiputa; lonakala ilizwe zizibawu.

25 UFaro wabiza uMoses na-Aron, wathi, Yiyani nibingelele kuThixo wenu kweli lizwe.

26 Wathi uMoses, Akulungisile ukwenjenjalo; kuba soba sibingelela amasikizi amaYiputa kuYehova uThixo wethu. Ukuba sithe sabingelela into engamasikizi kumaYiputa phambi kwawo, osixuluba ngamatye.

27 Siya kuhamba uhambo lweentsuku ezintathu entlango, sibingelele kuYehova uThixo wethu, njengoko wothi asiyalele.

28 Wathi uFaro, Ndiya kunindulula nina, niye kubingelela kuYehova uThixo wenu entlango, kodwa ize ningahambi niye kude; ndithandazeleni.

29 Wathi uMoses, Yabona, ndiya kuphuma kuwe, ndithandaze kuYehova, zimke izibawu kuFaro, nakubakhonzi bakhe, nakubantu bakhe ngomso, kodwa makangaphindi uFaro akhohlise ngokungabandululi abantu, baye kubingelela kuYehova.

30 Wemka uMoses, wathandaza kuYehova.

31 Wenza uYehova ngokwelizwi likaMoses, wazisusa izibawu kuFaro, nakubakhonzi bakhe, nakubantu bakhe; akwasala nasinye.

32 UFaro wayiqaqadekisa intliziyo yakhe, nangesi sihlandlo, akabandulula abantu.
