⁴⁰ ထာဝရဘုရားမိန့်တော်မူသည်ကား၊ ရန်သူသည် ရွှေလင်းတပျံတတ်သကဲ့သို့ပျံလာ၍၊ အတောင်တို့နှင့် မောဘပြည်ကိုအုပ်မိုးလိမ့်မည်။

²¹ သူငှါးတို့သည် သူ၏အလယ်၌ ဆူအောင် ကျွေးသောနွားကဲ့သို့ ဖြစ်သော်လည်း၊ ပျက်စီးခြင်းနေ့၊ ဆုံးမခြင်းကိုခံရသော အချိန်ရောက်သောကြောင့်၊ သူတို့ သည် မရပ်မနေ၊ ကျောကိုလှည့်၍ တညီတညွတ်တည်း ပြေးသွားကြ၏။

²⁴ Therefore the Lord, Yahweh of Armies, says "My people who dwell in Zion, don't be afraid of the Assyrian, though he strike you with the rod, and lift up his staff against you, as Egypt did.
