3106. 'To go on her hands' means the power of the affection for truth. This is clear from the meaning of 'the hand' as power, dealt with in 878, 3091, and from the representation of 'Rebekah', to whom 'her' refers here, as the affection for truth, dealt with in 2865, 3077.

The foot, as in Deuteronomy 33:3, signifies an inferior principle. To set the right foot on the sea and the left on the earth, as in Revelation 10:2, signifies that the Lord has the universal church under His intuition and dominion.
