Deuteronomy 25:7

7 And if the man shall not like to take his brother's wife, then let his brother's wife go up to the gate to the elders, and say, My husband's brother refuseth to raise up to his brother a name in Israel, he will not perform the duty of my husband's brother.

Verse 7. But if the kindred good be unwilling to be conjoined to the truth of the lost good—i.e. if spiritual good be unwilling to flow forth and manifest itself in the natural life— let natural truth appeal to the primary doctrines of the Church relating to the state of communication between the spiritual and natural mind, as to the fact that spiritual good refuses to perform deeds of natural charity, and to flow forth into the natural life.
