11 As the eagle enticing her young to fly, and hovering over them, he spread his wings, and hath taken him and carried him on his shoulders.

The rational principle enlightened from heaven stirred up the natural truths of the mind, and guarded the new truths developed from itself, exercised all its powers in examining into truths, and took natural truths and elevated them by this examination into celestial light (Apocalypse Explained 281):
