9 When thou art come into the land which the Lord thy God shall give thee, beware lest thou have a mind to imitate the abominations of those nations.

Verse 9. When you are come to the heavenly states with which the Divine Love and Wisdom will gift you, you shall not be seduced to conjoin those states with any of the evils of the unregenerate heart.
