4 So the children of Israel did as the Lord had said to Moses, and put them outside the tent-circle.

Verse 4. And the man of the true church is obedient to the dictate of Divine Truth, and entirely rejects these evil things, because he is able to do this from Divine Good by Divine Truth, which he acknowledges to be from the Lord.
