6718. 'And the woman conceived' means the very beginnings, that is to say, of the law of God in the Lord's Human. This is clear from the meaning of 'conceiving' as the very beginnings. The same thing is meant here by 'the woman' as by 'a daughter of Levi' immediately above, whom a man from the house of Levi married, namely truth joined to good.
