NCBSC relies on consent (and explicit consent, where applicable, per Article 9 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation, hereinafter referred to as "GDPR")) and fulfillment of contract as the lawful basis under Article 6 of GDPR for processing users’ Personal Information.

Most of the time, the NCBSC needs to process your Personal Information to fulfill a user request. Sometimes, the NCBSC relies upon your consent, in which case we will keep a record of it and honor your choices.

Other times the NCBSC has a legitimate interest in processing data to better understand the needs, concerns, and interests of NCBSC users so the NCBSC can operate optimally as an association, such as:

In particular, the NCBSC collects and transfers to the U.S. Personal Information (or otherwise referred to as Personal Data, see above) only: with your consent; to perform a contract with you; or to fulfill a compelling legitimate interest of the NCBSC in a manner that does not outweigh your rights and freedoms.
