⁶⁵ For Jehovah had said of^◦ them, Dying they shall die in the wilderness. And there remained not a man^◦ of them^◦, other·​·than Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun.

⁴ And this is the reason that Joshua did circumcise: all the people that came·​·out from Egypt, that were males, all the men^◦ of war, died in the wilderness in the way, when they came·​·forth out·​·of Egypt.
