¹⁷ Only^▵ the firstborn of an ox, or the firstborn of a sheep^▵, or the firstborn of a goat, thou shalt not redeem^◦; they^◦ are holy; thou shalt sprinkle their blood on the altar, and shalt burn· their fat ·for·​·incense for a fire·​·offering, for a restful smell to Jehovah.

¹⁵ And the flesh of the sacrifice of his peace·​·offerings for thanksgiving shall be eaten in the day of his offering; he shall not let· any of it ·stay until morning.
