26 And I prayed to▵ Jehovah, and said, O Lord Jehovih*, destroy not Thy people and Thine inheritance, whom Thou hast redeemed◦ in Thy greatness, whom Thou hast brought·​·out from Egypt with a firm hand.

Verse 26. And besought the Lord, saying, O Jehovah God, let not the perceptions of truth and the aspirations after good with which You have gifted the soul by Your great love for mankind perish, which You have brought from under the dominion of the natural unregenerate heart by the omnipotence of Your Providence.
