The seven days of creation stand for steps in our spiritual progress. In Genesis 1:14-18, the creation of the sun, moon and stars represent the providing of truth. In the 7-week study series, "Seven Practices of Peace", this passage from Genesis shows that it is time to do a check on our spiritual progress. Essentially we need to look up to God and make sure we are being led by Him. Many people "see the light"; but then end up just trading one bad habit for another. This week, make sure your new habit you've taken on is one that is leading you to God.
