'Saying, Tomorrow Jehovah will do this thing in the land' means that this is how it will be with them for evermore, so far as the forms of the truth and good of faith belonging to the Church are concerned. This is clear from the meaning of 'tomorrow or 'on the morrow' as for evermore, dealt with in 3998. The fact that the words here mean so far as the forms of the truth and good of faith belonging to the Church are concerned is evident from what comes before them, for those forms of truth and good are the subject there, that is to say, their annihilation among those meant by 'the Egyptians' and their permanent retention among those represented by 'the children of Israel'.
