10 But the goat, on which the lot fell to be the scapegoat, shall be presented alive before the LORD, to make an atonement with him, and to let him go for a scapegoat into the wilderness.

Verse 10. And it must be acknowledged before the Lord that man of himself is really in falsity from evil, so that the External may be reconciled to the Internal by the complete rejection of such falsity.
