24 וַיָּבֹאוּ אֶל־מַחֲנֵה יִשְׂרָאֵל וַיָּקֻמוּ יִשְׂרָאֵל וַיַּכּוּ אֶת־מֹואָב וַיָּנֻסוּ מִפְּנֵיהֶם [כ= וַיָּבֹו] [ק= וַיַּכּוּ]־בָהּ וְהַכֹּות אֶת־מֹואָב׃

Verse 24. But the corrupted man, having his powers in orderly arrangement for selfish ends, resists on this occasion, the impure affections of the natural mind, which are not merely repressed, but, apparently, are subdued.
