9 but its inwards and its legs shall he wash with water: and the priest shall burn the whole on the altar, for a burnt-offering, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savor unto Jehovah.

Verse 9. But sensuous feelings and thoughts exterior and interior, shall be purified by the application of the truth in the work of repentance; and then the whole natural man may be devoted to the Lord in worship from good or from pure love, which will be grateful and acceptable to the Lord, and productive of heavenly rest and peace.
