And he said, Oh let not my Lord be angry, and I will speak but this once: peradventure ten shall be found there; and He said, I will not destroy it for ten’s sake. “He said, Oh let not my Lord be angry, and I will speak but this once,” signifies anxiety still continued concerning the state of the human race; “peradventure ten shall be found there,” signifies if there should still be remains; “and He said, I will not destroy it for ten’s sake,” signifies that they will be saved.
